What is a cYcard®?

The cYcard® is your cYber ID. This innovative tool is your all-access pass to the fashionTrust™ community and its ambassadors, contests and castings. Essentially, the cYcard® acts as your online portfolio, which can easily be embedded into any of the major social networking sites. In this way, your cYcard® connects the rest of the web to your fashionTrust™ portfolio and other personalized member pages.

What makes up my cYcard®?

A cYcard® is essentially your online portfolio/comp card/business card. When broken down the cYcard® can consist of up to seven individual cards, and each of these cards can contain up to five pictures or videos. That is a total of thirty-five pictures or videos to show agents, casting directors and peers the best of your talent!

How do I upload video onto my cYcard®

First, create the card just like you would any cYcard® (choose a Title for the card, choose the Layout). When you get to the page where you upload the images select "Click here to upload" in one of the spaces. The upload box will pop up, and at the top of that box where there is an option to "Choose Your Media Type," select "Video." After that it is just three simple steps:

  1. Fill in the title.
  2. Upload a still image from the video, which will show up on the card.
  3. Select "Upload Video" at the bottom of the box, and either insert a link to the video where it exists on YouTube already, or insert the video file that you wish to upload.

Why do the pictures on my final cYcard® look stretched or cutoff?

Once you upload a photo, make sure to select the crop tool to ensure that each photo fits within the cYcard®, and looks exactly the way you want the final cYcard® to look.

Why am I not able to see the photo I uploaded?

It could be that the photo you are uploading is too large, in which case you should reduce the file size and try again.

What is the best video size and format to upload?

Our videos are uploaded through YouTube, so please check the specifications on their site, and upload accordingly. You can see those specs here.

Why can't I see my video right away?

It takes a moment to process before it appears on the site. Be patient, and if it is still not working then go to "Edit cYcard®" and select to Edit the card in question. Check here to see if the video has been rejected. Why would this have happened? Read on...

Why did the video that I uploaded get rejected?

The video could have been disabled because of copyright infringement or content claims. It's also possible that the video has been rejected due to uploading errors or if the same video is already in our system.
